Well, I have a Co. laptop, Dell Latitude AMD/Sempron 3600; 1.99GHz and 2Gig of RAM, and I also installed SnT with GPS...

My machine will grind to a halt with any other process running... even a small excel file will lock it up.

Streets is a really bloated program, sad really... a little PDA sized device will outperform a laptop as a GPS mapping system. :duh:

The 2009 version runs lighter on memory and processor usage, but the earlier versions are resource hogs.
RF my Latitude is similar to yours, but I have Intel guts.
It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the end.
