3 peat. All I can say is  :shit: :shit: :shit: :shit: :shit: :shit: I was there about 2.5 hours. Bad RF, no ground, loose fittings, splice at ground level and chewed up, way too much extra cable. Cat 3 ran from one side of the house to the other with 2 twist together splices with both pairs bad, alarm was the only easy part.

No Tip. :pee: :pee: :pee:

This was an unexpected birth day present from either a contractor or in-house. I'll find out for sure in the am. from address 1-27 only 4 active accounts. :duh: wouldn't have found it if they hadn't left the leasing office unhooked. In this mess is 3 3-ways and 2 2-ways. On the wall behind the ped is another 3 way splitter used like a two way. Two of the active addresses were right next to the ped and both had white temps. :slap

My partner and I kicked in the two drops and toned the other 2. Cut all of the drops even with the top of the base of the ped.

Here are two albums of work I recently did. Not Cable tv related but still good/bad work:

Put a new phone system in a house...2 lines and 14 extensions

Cleaned up a mess of wiring in a basement...thank you incompetent electrician!

Things like this just makes you wonder what someone is thinking. I guess they thought the water ground would work out best.  :slap

I'm truly surprised it wasn't grounded to the gas line.
Nice cleanup.
It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the end.
