Had one last week. work order comments said "Please arrive late"  on a 1 to 4 appointment.  so i made it the last job of the day, and figured if the customer said anything about it, i would show them that i was told to arrive late.   best part was, i got there about at about 5:30 and the customer wasn't home. had forgot all together they had a appointment.

don't get me started on custom times. If it's a 1-4, I'm gonna be there where it fits on my route regardless of what the comments say. I've had jobs next door to each other both 12-4 one said come after 3. Screw that. If you wanted an appointment after 3 you should have gotten a 4-6 or something later. If nothing was available that day then you're gonna have to wait.
I feel like every day I worked as a contractor was a day stolen from me.
They have like.. yellow crumbely crap on em? And smell odd.
In any event, tonight Ill clean em up and give one a whirl...

XSwiftX where do you work? Those codes look like some Cox ICOMS shit.
Most people think cable is just a simple coax that comes out of the wall. They never take the time to understand how it works.

Customer: "There shouldn't be a problem inside. I hooked the boxes up myself."

Most of the time, if its something like a 3-6 appointment, and it says please come at 5, i do my best to knock on that door at 3 on the dot lol, ill even drive out of my way to do it, for the easy cancel of the job, and to prove a point.   had customers argue with me before cause they werent home, and thought the timeframe ment they just had to get home from whatever they were doing before the end of the timeframe.  What I hate though is when our stupid dispatchers will call the customer to confirm they are not home, the customer says they will be there in 10 min.. dispatch says ok thats fine, then tell me to wait for them. I always say sure, doortag the house then leave :)  Cause when a customer says they will be there in 10, what they really mean is ok ill be there after i stop by wall-mart real fast on my way back home.

Yeah, 10 minutes turns into an hour really quick! I've gone out of my way to prove that point as well. My shift was 7:30-4, I'd get a 2-6 come after 4. WTF? I'm there at 2 then go home and get a call at 6:30. The call would either be the sub wants to know if you will come back....... no, I'm at home now. Or the sub called in to let you know that she's home now...... okay, I'm home too. What do you want me to do? Anyways..... I'm done with that.

Yeah, I've billed for the time they've called me. usually just 15 minutes, though. But hey, $5 is better than nothing.

I got there and geez , the pic had 3 of em ,, Panasonic 50in projection about 6-8 years old. Even the menus on the TV itself where bad.
On the PC , Same damn thing, except it would go dark too not black but very dark. I told em " Just isnt good luck with you and monitors this week" I'm sorry to be the bad news guy , but I am on this one. Spend you stimulus checks wisely." and took the F off.
