Well for me, I live out in the sticks with no access to the wired stuff.  :cry:
So I have internet satellite, FTA satellite and SC services. I have done all the work except for the internet and here is some pics of my work.
Anyone has pics of their projects at home?

Sweet...  Not to criticize you, but the transition to buried conduit... Needs more dum-dum(sealant) or drip-loop u-bends?  Or is it just black direct burial rated?

Direct bury cable, pieces of conduit to keep the weeder eater away.
I use Wildblue internet and StarChoice as the main viewing service.

I'm used to DB satellite cable being orange or gray around here, sometimes my mind forgets they can make anything in any color gaybeer! they want these days. :)


What kinda speeds you see out of WB?  And what size dish did they equip you with?

Is that a heat-shrink job on the gray conduit on the left?  Tight!

I have 1 meg now but it's expensive. Dish is something like 28x26.

That's electric tape I used to wrap the top. Didn't see any use in using anything else for now.

This is the most recent picture I have of my setup at home, I meant to take some pics last weekend but forgot :)

L to R
66 block for phone line feed and 25 pair to rack, 66 block for station cables, Inter-Tel phone system
Where the black phone is hanging I now have a small Nortel phone system. The bottom blocks under the phone system are for stations and lines. I also have a third block to the right now, and a paging adapter in the space on the left.

48 port patch panel, wire organizer, 16 port switch, vent panel, audio connections to my sound system, cisco routers...below that I have several computers on shelves.
