Would've sucked for him if that phone bag he was sitting on was full of bees!

Also would suck if he disco'd the wrong drop, someone else had to go back to reco it & there was really no other way to get to that tap.

Oh yeah & don't forget one of the most important rules in the cable business.....DISCOS, DISCOS, DISCOS!!!!!

Says Time Warner, but the tag colors are Comcast. hmm... Anyone here confirm that TW uses black and white/rose tags? I know our closest competitor uses completely different colors than we do green, yellow and red for wave broadband. Just an observation is all. Also guy says he does nto ever get free cable which implies contractor but..

1. Ladder climb would have probably disturbed bees long before he got to there, but yeah.

2. They do it all the time, guess what, we still pay them, and send someone else to go fix it all in CC. O_O

3. I disco them at the house [ground block] all the time and have a bucket go back and correct it. Don't see why he could not have. That way if the sub wants to keep service, or new sub moved in then it gets called in , and if not it gets done where they can not barrel around it in 24-48 hours. No big deal...

Obviously that guy wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed for walking out on telco, however there are a few local guys that are rumored to have done this.

What I do not understand even more than the wire walking is why his ladder is setup so poorly, the least he could have done would of been to get his hooks over the telco strand. If he keeps setting his ladder up like that the next vid will be of him that ladder falling backwards as he tries to ascend or descend.

Just fyi if that was the only way I could get to that particular tap, I would have simply groundblock disco'd that one. If that were not possible than it would of been completed as not accessable. I may have considered that in the past when I was newer in the industry but at this point you wouldn't see me risking my life for the cable company.

We currently use White for address... Red for disco'd  and Black for homeschool/business accounts.

Some of the areas still have the black ziptie address tags or aluminum scribe on tags...

I'd never get my panties in a bunch for a disconnect either... shit can get disco'd in the house box cuz it's gonna be a PITA to hook back up too. I always get irritated when I get the "need bucket to disconnect" orders cuz they are always followed by "need bucket for reconnect"... just do it in the fucking house box.
