They gave us constellation however... no training on how to use it or read it.................... I've even gone to DSAM training with our company and with JDSU and no one there can really explain it....................

The PDF in the first post gives a pretty good amount of info regarding the feature.  Even though it's for Trilithic, you still read constellation the same way.

constellation reading isnt all that necessary unless your in maintenance or the HE..... even as a maintenance tech , i never use.....if your trying to troubleshoot transport issues, combiner problems, etc, then it becomes utilized, but as far the field goes, 99% of time you will eith see acceptable constellation pattern, or bits scattered all over the place....which translates to bad mer/ber.....
