HERE.........vinyl siding i could get a line from that lockbox up the corner of that siding and into the attic very easily without being able to see any of it. if its not vinyl siding its a different story. ive taken customers right outside and showed them exactly what i can do and they are cool with that once they realize that its under the siding and you cant see it, and u dont drill anyholes in the siding. is that lockbox around the same location as their electric panel? if so your in a dangerous area to be attempting some 2 story drillbit way of doing it. i know electricians that have long bits for doing that kinda stuff but you need to know what your doing, and its certainly nothing you want to try on the side somewhere uninsured. heres a few pics of some vinyl siding jobs ive done before. this was a place with a totally finished drywall ceiling in the basement and they wanted a cable modem on a first floor exterior wall, brand new hardflood floors, and wanted no wires showing anywhere. we did this in less than an hour right to the groundblock.
